At Verve Real Food Catering we’re passionate about providing real food with exceptional service.
We love being in the kitchen, cooking and creating with an amazing team who fill the day with fun, positive energy and lots of laughter. It's true to say that as well as fresh, local ingredients your food is guaranteed to be cooked with plenty of nutritious fun, goodness and vitality!
Ethical, sustainable and supportive of Fair Trade
As a local Christchurch business, we choose to use other local businesses as our suppliers, using seasonal, local produce, meats and cheeses whenever possible. Scroll down to see who we choose to use as our Real Food & Catering Partners.
We also choose to operate in an ethical and sustainable way. We use biodegradable and reuse-able packaging where possible; recycle whatever we can and only cook with free range eggs.
We believe in Fair Trade and choose to make your coffee with OOMPH! a fair-trade organic blend – roasted, blended and supplied to us by the wonderful folk at Hummingbird Coffee, Christchurch’s local boutique coffee roastery.
Our breads are baked daily and supplied by local icon Hilllyer’s Bakery, known to create exquisite baking with high quality ingredients, and which we use, quite simply, because we think it’s the most delicious around!
Like fine wines, good cheeses mature and are ready to eat at different times, so we’re pleased that our friends at Canterbury Cheesemongers provide us with great advice, as well as great cheese. Likewise, we enjoy using the friendly, helpful butchers at Peter Timbs Meats who consistently provide us with quality service and quality cuts.
We donate any leftover fare from our City Kitchen to the Christchurch City Mission, and to minimise waste and keep them happy, our food scraps go to Seamus the pet Kune Kune pig and his paddock-buddy Roy the Goat.
